Weight-Limited Cases per Pallet Calculator

Estimate the whole case count allowed by product payload weight, capped by a separately calculated whole-case geometric maximum. Formula: weight limit = floor(allowable product payload / gross weight per case); allowed cases = min(weight limit, geometric maximum). Product payload excludes pallet tare; compare pallet tare separately with the applicable gross limit.

Example values are prefilled to demonstrate the calculation. Replace them with values for your product, package, equipment, and operating conditions.

Inputs

Payload and case limits

Range: at least 0 lb

Enter the weight allowance available for loaded cases in pounds after subtracting pallet tare and any other applicable weight allowances.

Range: at least 0.0001 lb/case

Enter product plus packaging weight for one loaded case in pounds.

Range: at least 0 cases/pallet

Enter the non-negative whole-case maximum from a separate pallet geometry check.

Estimate scope and exclusions
Payload must exclude pallet tare and any other applicable weight allowances; geometry maximum must come from a separate check. This estimate does not verify pallet, rack, carrier, trailer, axle, or load-stability ratings or legal transport compliance.
