Cartoner Output Rate Calculator

Estimate cartoner's theoretical and factor-adjusted carton throughput from cycles per minute, whole cartons per cycle, and a user-entered good-output realization factor. Apply the factor once only; if cycle rate already represents measured good output, use a factor of 1.

Example values are prefilled to demonstrate the calculation. Replace them with values for your product, package, equipment, and operating conditions.

Inputs

Cartoner cycle and realization

Range: at least 0 cycles/min

Enter a positive rated or measured cycle rate in cycles/min. Fractional cycles/min are allowed for an average.

Range: at least 0 count/cycle

Enter the positive whole number of cartons discharged by one complete cycle.

Range: 0–1 0–1

Enter a factor from 0 to 1 for sustained good output versus cycle-based theoretical capacity. Do not reapply losses already reflected in the entered rate.
