Case Packer Output Rate Calculator

Estimate theoretical good-unit flow and equivalent case throughput from case-packer cycles, units packed per cycle, configured units per case, and a user-supplied operating factor. Formula: estimated good units/min = cycles/min × units/cycle × factor; equivalent cases/hour = estimated good units/min ÷ units/case × 60. This is a rate estimate; fractional cases/hour are possible. Apply the factor once and match it to the entered cycle-rate basis.

Example values are prefilled to demonstrate the calculation. Replace them with values for your product, package, equipment, and operating conditions.

Inputs

Cycle, case pack, and operating factor

Range: at least 0 cycles/min

Enter a sustained or measured average cycle rate for the configured case-packer operation.

Range: at least 0 units/cycle

Enter the whole-number count of saleable units loaded or formed in each machine cycle.

Range: at least 0 units/case

Enter the configured whole-number quantity of units in one case.

Range: 0–1 0–1

Use 1.0 for the cycle-based theoretical rate or enter an observed net factor from 0 to 1. Do not apply another OEE adjustment if the cycle rate already represents measured good output.
