Pallet Load Height and Weight Check Calculator

Estimate a configured pallet load's total height and gross weight, then compare both with user-entered limits. Layers = ceiling(whole total cases / whole cases per layer); total height = layers × case height + pallet height; gross weight = total cases × gross loaded-case weight + pallet tare. This checks arithmetic against supplied limits only; it does not assess compression strength, load stability, overhang, or carrier rules.

Example values are prefilled to demonstrate the calculation. Replace them with values for your product, package, equipment, and operating conditions.

Inputs

Pallet load dimensions, weight, and limits

Range: at least 0 count

Enter the whole number of loaded cases on this pallet.

Range: at least 0 count/layer

Enter the whole number of cases per layer for the selected pallet pattern; this calculator does not derive the pattern.

Range: at least 0 in

Enter case height in inches for the same loaded case measured by gross weight.

Range: at least 0 in

Enter pallet tare height in inches.

Range: at least 0 lb/case

Enter gross weight per fully loaded case in pounds, including the product and case packaging.

Range: at least 0 lb

Enter pallet tare weight in pounds. Include pallet and any tare accessories you intend to count.

Range: at least 0 in

Enter the maximum permitted loaded-pallet height in inches, including pallet height.

Range: at least 0 lb

Enter the maximum permitted gross pallet weight in pounds, including pallet tare.

Limit comparison scope and exclusions
This is an arithmetic comparison against the height and gross-weight limits you enter, including pallet tare. It does not determine pallet pattern, load stability, compression, overhang, center of gravity, carrier/rack rules, or regulatory limits. Verify the applicable limit and load design separately.
