Packaging Cost per Good Unit Calculator

Roll up user-entered material, direct labor, energy, and other variable costs for one production run into total included cost and cost per whole good packaged unit. Formula: run cost = sum of entered cost components; cost per good unit = run cost / good units produced. Enter each cost once and use the same product/run boundary for costs and output. This is a variable-cost rollup, not fully burdened accounting cost; excludes costs not entered, fixed overhead, depreciation, separate scrap valuation, and margin.

Example values are prefilled to demonstrate the calculation. Replace them with values for your product, package, equipment, and operating conditions.
