Packaging Machine Count Calculator
Estimate the minimum whole number of identical machines needed to meet a whole-unit order within one net production window. Formula: single-machine good capacity = ideal units/minute × net minutes × user-supplied OEE; machines = ceiling(order units / single-machine good capacity). Assumes identical machines operate in parallel with no shared constraint and are available for the same window. This arithmetic is not an equipment-sizing or safety approval.
Example values are prefilled to demonstrate the calculation. Replace them with values for your product, package, equipment, and operating conditions.
